Course Aims
This course covers the competencies and skills identified as key to Unix System V R4 Systems Administrators. The course introduces the readers to good practices in the administration of a UNIX system. On completion of the course readers will be able to: identify and mange the major subsystems that comprise UNIX; perform confidently the role of Systems Administrator; be aware of the problems encountered running a UNIX system and how to tackle them.
Assumed Knowledge
Experience with using UNIX gained from a user environments or by completing our "UNIX Fundamentals" or "UNIX Advanced User" courses.
