ECDL Advanced Word Processing with Word 2000




Course Aims
This course will teach you to use the word processing application Microsoft Word 2000 with a high level of competence. You will be able to create documents incorporating advanced page layout and graphics formatting and document references, such as an index and table of contents. You will also be able to work with data in tables, spreadsheets and mail merge, use styles, templates, AutoCorrect and macros to speed up the creation of documents and use the reviewing tool to collaborate on editing tasks with other users. You can use this course to prepare for the ECDL Word Processing Advanced Syllabus 3.0.
Assumed Knowledge
Previous experience with Microsoft Word is required. Readers should be able to create, format and print documents incorporating multiple pages, tables, graphics, styles and headers/footers and be able to import spreadsheet data and pictures and complete a mail merge.
